SWINE FLU

Swine flu cases are caused by the influenza virus Orthomyxoviridae endemic in the population of pigs. Furrow of swine flu virus that has been isolated until now has been classified as Influenza virus C or sub-tipe genus Influenza virus A.

Swine flu infected human each year and is usually found in people who come into contact with pigs, although it also found cases of transmission from human to human. The virus symptoms include fever, disorientation, stiffness in the joints, vomiting, and loss awareness that ended in the death of known swine flu caused by influenza A virus sub-tipe H1N1 ; H1N2 ; H3N1 ; H3N2 and H2N3.

Pigs can accommodate the flu virus came from birds and humans, allows the virus to exchange genes and create a groove pandemic.

In the United States, only sub-tipe H1N1, commonly found in the pig population before 1998. However, since the end of Agusuts 1998, sub-tipe H3N2 has also isolated from pigs.
